It is safe to say that teachers can learn from other teachers. One of the ways this happens is through conversations about instruction and pedagogy and where all parties contribute and build their own knowledge-base. The purpose of this blog is to promote these critical and collaborative conversations between teachers. Remember, people are taking risks by positing, and may not be posting their best stuff, but instead the stuff they need help with. Respect that in all your comments.

Google Lit Trips
Ever had trouble trying to explain the setting of the book to the student? This seems like a great way to make the book come alive - use google earth to take a tour of the setting(s) of the book! Check it out at: Google Lit Trips

I totally used this for The Odyssey last year and gave my students a feedback form. They loved it! It was pretty cool from my end too.
